Lane Draft

Everything a traffic management designer needs

Lane Draft turns AGTTM 2026 into a design tool: pick a layout, enter the road, adjust to the site, and export a scheme ready to submit.

Layouts

Each layout knows which signs, tapers and devices it needs, and where they go.

  • Single lane shuttle flow, with portable traffic signals or traffic controllers
  • Lane closures, including multiple merges one lane at a time
  • Shoulder and edge works
  • Lateral shifts with no lane closed
  • Full road closure with a detour
  • Contraflow across a median
  • Footpath diversions, onto the road or behind the works
  • Bicycle lane closures and diversions
  • T-intersections and crossroads
  • Roundabouts
  • Highway and freeway off-ramps and on-ramps
  • Mobile works convoys (AGTTM Part 4)
  • All eight short term low impact work types (AGTTM Part 5)
Contraflow layout: merges, median crossovers delineated at 2 m, and separated opposing traffic
Contraflow: merges, crossovers delineated at 2 m and devices separating opposing traffic.

Adjust to the real site, safely

  • Drag any sign along the road, or type the exact distance
  • Instant warnings when a sign moves outside the Part 6 site tolerances (10% short, 25% long)
  • Change or remove any panel; Lane Draft notes anything you've removed
  • Add your own cones, barriers, signs and notes
  • Automatic warnings for things the guide asks you to consider, from speed zones to driveways between signals
